Drink Happy Thoughts - Chicago
05/31/21 • Today I visited Drink Happy Thoughts in Chicago, Illinois. Drink Happy Thoughts is a woman owned business that preaches about good vibes. I’m all for good vibes so I was really excited. Walking in I found that the shop was not wheelchair accessible so, if you’re going with a stroller it’s difficult as well. When we ordered the barista was very harsh and gave the impression of not wanting to be there. Outside of the harsh attitude the shop was very cute and aesthetically pleasing. They had paper straws available to cut back on plastic but, did serve my friends drink with plastic. The smoothies were pre-made as we were told so no customizations are available. Drink Happy thoughts is a small venue, in my personal opinion the max capacity is around 9 people in shop with no outdoor seating. The location is very walkable with a Jewel parking lot directly across the street. Overall, we would visit again but would hope for a more invested barista. The vibes were thrown off based on how the immediate interaction was… 8/10 in my opinion.
